Restaurant: Tai Nan Feng Wei Xiao Chi"
Located: 10825 N Wolfe Rd Cupertino, CA 95014
Cost: 10 per one person.
I went to this restaurant which called “Tai Nan Feng Wei Xiao Chi" located in Ranch 99 Plaza in Cupertino. I found this restaurant on the internet, I saw some good rate and common for this restaurant, Someone said " I like going to this place for my Taiwanese food. It is one of the few and the best one out here in the South Bay." on Yelp. Website. I want to try some food that they recommend, so I went to there. It is a really small restaurant, service is good and fast, they don't have much Chinese style food but they have ton of small eats of the Taiwanese food. .I ordered the Ground Pork w/ Rice bowl, which is cheapest rice dish on the menu. It's basically a large bowl filled with rice, ground pork that seasoned in a slightly salty anise flavor and cook with meat and tea egg. Also, in this restaurant, for every snake price only 3.45/3.99$, so cheap they are!
My friend who is Taiwanese told me this food is very famous in Taiwanese country. And most of Taiwanese food is mainly based on sweet taste and braised food; they always put some oiled pork floss on top and make it looks delicious.

| "Gua Bread" is the white one |
Hi, I will introduce this place again because in this restaurant has two kinds of type of Taiwanese food. Another one is called “Gua bread". It likes Chinese tradition food. For the white bread, it make up by rice, and they put groundnut flour, pork, caraway, Celery inside, the taste is a little bit sweet and when I just eat one "Gua bread", I will feel full, it also very cheap under five dollar.
One thing interested me is Taiwan food always use same source on their food, so when I try them, I feel taste really similar.
On the behind side, there is one big, round food on the plant, it is called " O Wa Jia", I do not know what correct English name about it. It is the most famous food as I know in Taiwan. Cooker use egg and vegetable together and cook it, put some Taiwan special sweet source. My friend said it does not have same taste when he eats the real one in Taiwan, but it still good. Compare with other province food, Taiwan food prefer to more sweet and they always eat eggs, Minced pork put in every food.
In my experience, if you want eat good, cheap Taiwan food, go here! And the cooker also told me they have more sub branch in other place such as Muilptise, SF.
